The Bishop of Hexen is one of the most influential symphonic black metal acts out there, and The Death Masquerade is one of the premier developments in the scene. A mixture of overwhelming ambience, ballroom dance, and a truly evil atmosphere, Bishop of Hexen has truly mastered the art of developing a sound that sounds like the organized chaos of Hell's demons set loose upon the world, while also ensuring their sound has polish and organization that is almost unparalleled in the symphonic genre. americaneurosbmlover66613

It's really hard to pick a favorite Enslaved album but this one is in my top 3. Intoxicating atmosphere and excellent songwriting. This is a 10/10 album 9RnK7

SACRIMONIA remind me at a melodic black metal version of Arch Enemy, with more symphonic elements and less guitar hero play. This comparison already came up the first time I listened to "Anthems of Eclipse" without knowing that the harsh vocals here are also female. They are definitely not a softening gothic factor, as they are angry, rough and even more aggressive than the powerful music itself. Great job! Check the catch anthems "Mirror for the faceless" or "Modern Prometheus". H.L.
